As a keen runner, cyclist and world champion skydiver, Amanda brings a unique insight into treating athletes with her specialist knowledge in Sports Physiotherapy, Biomechanical Assessments and Clinical Pilates. She has completed 2 Ironman events, several multiday cycling events in the mountains, and most recently finished the Marathon des Sables multiday ultramarathon in the Sahara desert, so Amanda appreciates the demands placed on your body with a variety of sports.
Amanda has over 20 years experience as a Chartered Physiotherapist and is registered with the Health Professions Council, she has also completed a post graduate diploma in Sports Physiotherapy. She has worked with runners and cyclists treating injuries but also working on diagnosis and prevention of injuries using biomechanical assessments. She also treats problems arising from everyday activities such as work, driving, and gardening and can help you to improve your general health and wellbeing. Whilst working in Oxfordshire Amanda worked with the children at Radley College treating growing-related and congenital problems as well as a variety of injuries, and continues to see children and teenagers regularly in the practice.
