COVID-19 Measures

Face to face Physiotherapy

With the guidance provided by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), the Government and Public Health England (PHE), we have been able to do face to face treatments since June 2020 and continue to do so. Our guidelines mean that we will be wearing PPE and you will be required to wear a mask for your appointment. If you are interested in booking an appointment or would like more information about the measures that we are taking to keep everyone safe, please contact us.

Telehealth Physiotherapy

If you don’t feel comfortable to come in for a face to face consultation we are still here to help you with advice on your injury/problem using video or telephone consultations.

During this consultation we can assess you by taking a full history as normal and watching you move to determine the problem. We can then help you to manage it and recover through teaching home exercises and pain relieving techniques.

Learning more about your problem and knowing what exercises to do is a proven way to start the recovery process. We will then email you a plan with your advice and exercises.

What is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when you’ve been affected by injury or an illness.

Identifying the underlying cause of a problem and teaching you how to prevent it from recurring is essential when assessing and treating you. A problem manifesting itself in one part of the body may be entirely due to an imbalance somewhere unrelated. This is why your physiotherapist is highly experienced and qualified in their assessment and treatment skills as a physiotherapist but also as a clinical Pilates instructor.

It is impossible to list all of the treatments available and conditions that we treat but these will give you an overview and please contact us to discuss how we can help you before booking an appointment.
